Desert Star did a great job on my flat white roof. They applied the best rubberized roof coat and put it on plenty thick. I had done the job myself ten years ago and used six big buckets of coating. Robert’s guys used eight, then applied a second coat the next day. His workers, two strong young guys , got to it right away and kept on till they were done. They knew what they were doing, making minor repairs before they started. Robert himself came on the first day, built up two spots that had degenerated a little, then power washed the roof. He’s a hard working, knowledgeable and personable guy who did the same excellent job he promised in time and at the agreed upon price he’d bid—a fair price for quality work

In order to evaluate Desert Star Roof Coating I need to start 10 years ago. I needed extensive repairs. I called Robert because he was recommended by a trusted friend. He did and outstanding job! The company was quick to respond, gave me a detailed bid for the repair and a promise to come back and inspect my roof every year to ensure any defect could be corrected before a leak might cause damage! The owner was here, completed the job in three days as promised and left no evidence of repair work on the ground when the job was done. Very satisfied with Robert's work. We just bought a new home and the roof was in need of some patching up. We opted to just recoat the whole roof as a preventive measure. Robert was able to come within a week of our initial call and committed to 3 days of work to get the job done. He finished everything on schedule and it looks great. He also patched up some cracking stucco and matched the paint, as well a removed a satellite dish we didn't want and sealed up the holes it left. We just had a very good experience with Robert from Desert Star Roof coating. We have a fairly old roof that has been neglected for 5 years. During a recent rain, we developed a skylight leak. Desert Star was recommended by a friend, we called Robert and he showed up within 2 hours and fixed the problem. We scheduled him to do a roof coating for a month later. He power washed the roof, repaired the separation bubbles and put on 2 coats of rubber coating. Typical roof coating in Tucson is one coat, with maybe a 1 year warranty (depending on the age of the roof). Robert did two coats and gave us a 3 year warranty and the price was comparable to others. Robert is a very well spoken, hard working young man. He can be trusted to do what needs to be done and do it right. We are very pleased with Desert Star Roof Coating LLC!

I called Desert Star Roof Coating to look at a roof leak do a general inspection. Robert was able to come out right away and spent around 20-30 minutes carefully inspecting the roof (previous company I called was up on the roof for less than 5 minutes). He was very clear and transparent about the issues and how they would be fixed. The quote was a fair price. While performing the repairs several additional problems were found and resolved, but the final price was not increased as a result.
